We look after the pool for you
To keep everything running smoothly, we kindly ask that you not touch the heater, the pumps or any other pool equipment. It is a delicate system, and we would much rather take care of it ourselves so you can simply enjoy the water.
Jorge, our caretaker, is on site six days a week. Sunday is his day off, but if you need anything, he is happy to come by. We can also see the water temperature and adjust the heater remotely, so if it feels too warm or not warm enough, just send us a WhatsApp and we will fix it.
Pool questions
Is the pool heated?
It can be heated for an extra charge. Without heating, the water follows Cuernavaca's weather and can feel cold, especially in winter or in the morning.
How far ahead do I need to request heating?
At least one day before you arrive. The heater takes several hours to warm the water, so asking ahead helps it be ready when you get there.
How do I request it?
Mention it in the booking form or reply when we send your quote. We add the charge and confirm.
What if the power cuts out while it heats?
The heater draws a lot of power, and now and then it can blow a fuse. No need to worry: Jorge, our caretaker, is close by and gets it sorted quickly. Just send us a WhatsApp.
How deep is the pool, and can kids use it?
It has a shallow sun shelf about 1 to 1.5 feet (30 to 45 cm) deep, perfect for little ones and for lounging. Just off the shelf it is about 3 feet (1 m), and the deep end is about 5 feet (1.5 m), so it is not deep enough for diving. Kids are welcome; please make sure they always swim with an adult nearby.
What is around the pool?
A lawn, a grill for carne asada, and a terrace for long dinners. The string lights switch on just outside the sliding glass doors, to the left.
Who cleans it?
Our team keeps the pool clean before every stay. If anything is off, let us know and we will fix it.
